About Bryan
I work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist within a larger private practice of experienced therapists. I am a clinical member of The American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
I specialize in Behavior Therapy. Behavior Therapy seeks to analyze the causes of behavior, the antecedents and rewards, to determine different ways of helping clients get needs met without engaging in negative or destructive behavior. I am a clinical member of the American Association of Behavior Analysts and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I have presented research at the national conventions and co-authored the text, “Behavioral Family Therapy: an Evidenced Based Guide for Clinicians”, published in 2009 by Carolina Academic Press.
Behavior family therapy is a treatment approach for many psychological problems including depression, anxiety, and marriage counseling. This type of therapy is especially effective when working with children who present behavioral challenges.
